2012 Prelude and Overture String Ensemble Summer Season

The Southampton Cultural Center is proud to announce the 2012 Prelude and Overture String Ensemble Summer Season! Student violinists, violists, cellists and bassists are encouraged to attend this weekly workshop, held on Thursdays, 4:30-5:30, June 21 - August 30. Conducted by Prelude Ensemble Director Steve Watson, the Ensemble welcomes beginning to advancing string instrument students of all ages. Tuition: $ 165 - requires minimum of 10 students to run

Prelude String Ensemble, conducted by Steve Watson, is targeted towards younger musicians early in their orchestral development (NYSSMA Levels 1-3.) Students with basic sight reading abilities are welcome to take on the exciting challenges and rewards of playing in a string orchestra.
