26th Annual Harvest Gospel Concert Series 2012

One of East End Arts’ signature events, the Harvest Gospel Concert Series connects community through song, regardless of age, ethnicity, or background. In the fall of 1986, East End Arts, with the artistic guidance and management of Minister Maryanne McElroy, presented a small concert of gospel music for the local Riverhead community. Now in its 26th year, Harvest Gospel Concerts, which have grown to be a series of three performances at locations on the North and South forks, continues to celebrate community by sharing the joy of music from the soul. The Harvest Gospel Choir, a non-denominational group of 85+ vocalists, performs an eclectic mix of gospel music, from classic favorites to new renditions of genre-melding tunes that are not to be missed.
